Grow with Totoro!

I love this time of year, when trees, shrubs, bushes, lawns, everything, burst out energetically into showy flowers and tender new shoots overnight; the scent of rich, wet soil releasing it's moisture and ozone into the warmer air, as the morning sun quickly evaporates the dew.

Master Artist Miyazaki has the captured magic of the growing season with My Neighbor Totoro (http://mariedoucette.blogspot.com/2012/01/hayao-miyazaki.html). Who better to do so than artists who come from a culture where big, beautiful, ancient trees are venerated and marked as special? As they should be.

What would happen if you let yourself care about all life on the planet as sacred and special, not just a few, select humans? What would that look like to you? How would it change they way you feel, think, and act? What would you do differently? Interesting questions to ponder, brought to us in a flawless gem of a movie about the awesome power and beauty of nature. Enjoy it now, because it's "Totoroing" outside!
